UNL offers a variety of online courses in various formats in order to meet your needs.

Some of these formats are open exclusively to UNL students while others do not require UNL admission.


Information for:

Open enrollment courses

  • No admission required
  • Enroll anytime of the year
  • No fixed class schedule, you set the pace
  • Finish some courses in as little as five weeks, or take a full year

Semester-based courses

  • UNL Admission required
  • Enroll during UNL registration periods
  • Follows the traditional UNL semester schedule

Summer courses

  • No admission required
  • Enroll March 1 – May 31
  • Complete course requirements online over the summer
