Established in October of 1997, the office of Extended Education & Outreach (EE&O) is part of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL). By turning popular on-campus courses and programs into high-quality distance learning experiences for students on campus and around the world, we help academic colleges provide lifelong learning as a core mission of the University of Nebraska.

Adviser Our adviser, Dr. Bob Mathiasen, assists students with course selection, prerequisite questions and credit transfer issues. He also works closely with advisers and educators at other schools, helping them identify UNL courses that can allow their students to qualify for a degree program or finish a program of study at their home institution. Recruitment Coordinator Our Recruitment Coordinator, Laura Wiese, represents our programs both on campus and off, working to ensure that students, educators, and employers know about the flexibility and convenience of UNL’s high-quality online and distance education courses. She is always happy to talk with or visit organizations who want to learn more about what UNL has to offer. |
